While we encourage online and check donations for tracking and security purposes, the Nurse Honor Guard of Northern California can accept cash donations under the following guidelines to ensure transparency and proper documentation:

In-Person Delivery:
Cash donations can be accepted in person during official Nurse Honor Guard events, meetings, or by appointment with a designated NHGNORCAL officer or treasurer. -
Donation Receipt:
Donors will be provided with a written receipt acknowledging the donation amount, date, and purpose (if designated). Please ensure a full name and contact information are provided for proper documentation. -
Secure Handling:
All cash donations will be counted and verified by at least two NHGNORCAL representatives and promptly deposited into NHGNORCAL’s official bank account. -
Record Keeping:
A copy of the donation receipt and deposit record will be kept on file for financial and audit purposes. Donors will also receive an email or mailed confirmation for their records.
